The 65-year old has become a National treasure over the years thanks to roles in shows such as The Vicar of Dibley, French and Saunders and the Harry Potter films.
But fans are having to double-take the seasoned TV star after she unveiled a drastic image transformation. Posting on Instagram, Dawn French shared a photograph of herself alongside BBC Strictly Come Dancing presenter Claudia Winkleman.
In the picture, Dawn looked very different, and instead of looking like her usual self, she looked suspiciously like pal Claudia.
Dawn could be seen with bangs and pale lips - a look synonymous with Claudia.
