Aberdeen are refusing to be rushed into appointing Jim Goodwin’s successor. The Aberdeen board has put Barry Robson in interim charge with Scott Anderson and have also brought in the highly-experienced Steve Agnew.The short-term appointment of Agnew was Robson’s idea, having previously worked with him at Middlesbrough.
The Pittodrie hierarchy feel Agnew will give Robson some much-needed experience alongside him in the short-term. The trio took training yesterday as they finalised the preparations for tomorrow’s clash at home to St Mirren.Aberdeen director of football Steven Gunn has already been inundated with applications for their vacant managerial position.
