ACTOR Daniel Craig proudly wears a Royal Navy uniform after he was made an honorary Commander — the same rank held by James Bond.
Craig, 53, said he felt “truly privileged and honoured” to get the title. No Time to Die, his fifth outing as British agent 007, is out next week.
Craig was pictured in a sailor’s uniform with the First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin. The Navy said the actor, who has played James Bond since 2006, was keen to support service families. “Daniel Craig is well known for being Commander Bond for the last fifteen years – a Naval officer who keeps Britain safe through missions across the globe,” Admiral Radakin said.
