Dame Deborah James says it feels “surreal” appearing on the front pages of UK national newspapers. The 40 year old, who is receiving end-of-life care at home for bowel cancer, made headlines this week after making what she calls a "milestone" trip to Ascot with her brother - but found the fact she made it to the front pages of many of the biggest newspapers in the UK, including the Daily Mirror, "bonkers."
