As one of the longest-running daytime shows on Irish television, it is unusual that the same hosts have been there since the beginning of the Today Show on RTÉ, but Dáithí Ó Sé and Maura Derrane are returning for yet another season.

The hosting duo has always seemed to get on well with each other, from the first days of the Today Show when it was just a round table with a lot of news, to the more relaxed, easy to watch daytime show we know today.

However, despite the fact that there is harmony between Dáithí and Maura, it seems they are not best friends outside of work.

During an interview with the RTÉ Guide for the return of the latest season of the Today Show, which will see presenter Emer O’Neill take over as co-host for two days
