Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. (born November 20, 1942) is an American politician who served as the 47th vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017 and represented Delaware in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009. A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

And while the political focus has been on the lead-up to and aftermath of that literal coup attempt in America’s capital city, at least one major MAGA-related moment is already standing out from the rest. On Thursday, a 17-second clip of Ivanka Trump speaking to the congressional committee tasked with tracking the coup attempt was played during the investigation’s primetime hearings.

In the clip, Ivanka says plainly that she supported then-Attorney General Bill Barr‘s assertion that the 2020 presidential election was not stolen from her father, President Donald Trump.

Of course, The Donald has long rumbled baselessly about how the election was supposedly stolen from him by now-President Joe Biden and others in Washington.
