Covid Scotland: Rejecting people who refuse vaccine from large events is wrong approach, says John Swinney

Michael Gove, who said the UK Government is considering vaccine passports for events such as football matches. The Scottish Government is yet to make a decision on vaccine passports, however people in England will be required to have a passport for entry to nightclubs.On Tuesday, Gove said those who refuse vaccines when they are able to receive one are "selfish".Swinney, during an interview on the BBC's Good Morning Scotland programme earlier, said he disagreed with Gove's comments.

He said: "I think it's the wrong way to handle it." He said the Scottish Government's thinking on the issue has been influenced by Professor Stephen Reicher of St Andrews University.
