Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

Coroner issues e-bike storage warning after boy, 8, dies in fire

A coroner has warned of the “life-threatening” risks of storing electronic bikes and scooters in the home after an eight-year-old boy died in a house fire.

Luke Albiston O’Donnell died after an e-bike on charge in the front room of his house in Merseyside caught fire in the early hours of 4 August, an inquest heard.

The blaze was sparked by the ignition of the bike’s lithium battery. Luke died in hospital from hypoxia – low levels of oxygen in the body – and carbon monoxide poisoning, the inquest concluded.

Anita Bhardwaj, the area coroner for Liverpool and the Wirral, has sent a preventing future deaths report to the Office of Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), the National Fire Chiefs Council and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service highlighting concerns that the public need to be better informed about the dangers of storing e-bikes and e-scooters at home.
