The Scottish Government has released the latest Covid data for every local authority in the country. In the week between November 14 and 20, Scotland recorded a total of 20,512 new cases of the virus - which equates to a seven days positive rate of 375.3 per 100,000 population.Falkirk, Moray, Dumfries and Galloway and Stirling all recorded a seven day positive rate of more than 500 per 100,000 population during this week.

Na h-Eileanan Siar, Orkney Islands and Glasgow had the lowest infection rate according to the data. The latest data comes as the recent rise in Scotland daily Covid cases has started to ‘stabilise’, according to Nicola Sturgeon.
