Coronation Street star Sair Khan's boyfriend Nathan Chilton is recovering after undergoing surgery to remove a benign bone tumour in his pelvis.
Nathan has been documenting his health struggles on his Instagram and YouTube account, where he previously revealed that his operation had been cancelled just minutes before it was due to take place.The chiropractor was due to have his surgery on December 29, but the decision was made to reschedule it just minutes before going under anaesthesia as the consultant fell ill.
At the time, the soap star's other half discussed the emotional rollercoaster of the cancellation, calling it the "biggest anti-climax". "The bit leading up to the surgery is quite intense," he said. "I was literally told the ten minutes before I was set to go down, so I was obviously saying my goodbyes, shedding tears, feeling scared, terrified, a bit in shock, disbelief, to then all of a sudden being told it's not happening today." Despite the news "hitting him hard", Nathan reassured fans of his positive mindset. "I had a little bit of sleep, grounded myself and then just accepted it for what it is.
