Coronation Street’s ‘most hated’ character teases explosive return to soap for Chesney Brown’s wedding
thesun.co.ukFORMER Coronation Street star Wendi Peters has sensationally claimed that she could be back on the cobbles for Chesney's upcoming nuptiuals.
The star, who played the dad-of-five's mum, Cilla Battersby-Brown, could be back to wreak havoc ahead of her son's wedding to Gemma Winter.
Wendi appeared on the show for three years before bowing out in 2007 although she did crop up for a few weeks in 2014 when she attempted to mend fences and build bridges with her broken family.
However, the star has hinted that Cilla could make an epic comeback to watch her son finally tie the knot. Actress Wendi quipped: "I heard Chesney's getting married, but I don't think anybody's told his mother."
