Kirk Sutherland is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, Coronation Street. The character first appeared on-screen during the episode airing on 22 May 2000, played by an uncredited actor and originally referred to as Mark. From October onwards, he is played by Andrew Whyment.

The Kirk Sutherland actor, 39, was gushing with pride at his two kids Thomas and Hollie after they splashed out on dinner for their parents.
Andy shared a picture of the two kids sitting at the table as they awaited their meal. Then in the next, the Corrie actor showed off his plate of food, including a half chicken with chips and peas.
The star shares his two kids with wife Nicola, who he married in 2007. Andy - who earned £100,000 from his appearance on I'm A Celebrity and around £125,000 for his soap contract - returned to filming in July after the whole soap had to take a break during lockdown.
