Coronation Street icon Andy Whyment hits the golf course with son who is his double
msn.comCoronation Street star Andy Whyment took to Instagram to share a snap of him making the most of the warm weather with a day of golfing.
He was joined by co-star Sam Aston, who plays Corrie’s Chesney Brown, and son Tom, who is the spitting image of his dad. ‘Lovely day for a round of Golf at Worsley Park,’ The Kirk Sutherland actor wrote, tagging his two golfing companions.
Replying to comments from fans, Andy praised the golf course and the weather, saying: ‘Loving it, the course is fantastic and the weather is great. ’Fans in the comments couldn’t believe how tall Tom was, with one saying: ‘I can’t believe how much Tom has shot up he’s a lovely young man. ’This is of course referring to the fact that Sam’s character, Chesney, got married earlier this week to partner Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell).
The wedding was quite a spectacle, with Gemma’s orange dress stealing the show. However, it wasn’t a completely joyous occasion, as Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) had no choice but to reveal the fact that he was dying to his twin sister, having been diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
