Viewers of the ITV soap recently saw the character deciding to go to university to read law having been reminded of her passion for the subject and to learn something new.
During this week's string of episode of Corrie, Evelyn was seen being overwhelmed with the admin around her new law course on top of working and family life, with her grandson Tyrone Dobbs often roping her in to look after his two teenage children, Hope and Ruby.
With Roy Cropper reminding her that she won't succeed in her course with all the distractions, Evelyn decided she needed to move out of Tyrone’s house if she’s going to have any chance of completing her studies and went to visit a halls of residence.
