direct to your inboxCoronation Street and Emmerdale have suspended filming due to coronavirus. Filming of Emmerdale has been stopped this week because of an outbreak and cast will be back on set next week following an "intensive clean" on the set.
Corrie, however, will stop filming from Monday (January 25) in order to re-write scenes - not due to a Covid outbreak. A Corrie spokeswoman said: "Coronation Street will pause filming from next Monday, 25 January for two weeks to undertake some rewriting of stories and scripts as a consequence of the coronavirus pandemic."We will also be taking the opportunity to review all health and safety requirements to ensure we continue to provide a safe working environment for the cast, crew and production.
