THERE has been ANOTHER soap schedule shake-up resulting in both Emmerdale and Coronation Street being cancelled tonight. As a result of the 2022 World Cup, the soap schedules have been severely disrupted with many episodes airing outside of their regular timeslots.

Tonight ITV has been forced to cancel both of it's flagship soaps with neither of them airing tonight. It comes after ITV also pulled last night's edition of Emmerdale from the schedules, resulting in a second soap-free night.

All episodes of the soap are currently available to catch-up on ITVX, with the streaming service even releasing episodes in advance to combat the major disruption created by the football tournament.

Coronation Street aired earlier this week from Sunday-Wednesday in a series of unconventional timeslots, with Emmerdale joining suit on every day except Monday.
