Company suing Rangers for £9.5m 'goes into administration' day after details of legal bid emerge

A company which is suing Rangers for £9.5million has gone into administration just a day after details of their legal bid emerged, according to reports.

Elite Sports Group Ltd claim the Ibrox club breached a contract which allowed the firm to provide the Glasgow team with kits.

As reported by the Scottish Daily Express, Elite are the exclusive brand partner to Danish sportswear firm Hummel and it has instructed lawyers to go to the Court of Session in Edinburgh.

They won a bid to force Rangers to disclose sales data to them on Wednesday - however, according to Keiran Maguire of the respected Price of Football podcast, the company has been placed into administration.He said: "Elite Sports Group, the Hummel distributor for Southampton, Millwall, Coventry and other clubs, goes into administration.
