Clyde have announced the departure of several key players and assistant manager Stephen Swift, following the club's relegation to League Two.The Bully Wee announced yesterday that manager Jim Duffy was vacating this dugout role to take a position upstairs as the club's director of football, with a new boss to be announced in due course, and his No.2 Swift is leaving the club to "progress his managerial career."Ten players have now left the club following the expiry of their contract with Joshua Bradley-Hurst, Ross Cunningham, Paul Kennedy, Olly McDonald, Ryan Mullen, Neil Parry, Kurtis Roberts, Andy Rodden, Cameron Salkeld and Steven Thicot all moving on, while Jon Craig, Ryan McGeever and Rico Quitongo - who suffered a broken leg during the play-off final defeat to Annan - will return to their parent clubs.Club captain Brian McLean and seven others have been offered new deals for the 2023/24 camapign.Euan Cameron, Barry Cuddihy, Conner Duthie, Peter Grant, Ross Lyon, Liam Scullion and Erik Sula fall into that category, while Kyle Doherty, Darren Hynes and Martin Rennie are still under contract.Announcing the news, a Clyde statement added: "Assistant Manager Stephen Swift will be leaving the club as he aims to progress his managerial career."Ray Grant will continue to work with the club’s medical department as he recovers from his long term injury and a further update will be provided in due course."All at the club would like to thank those leaving Clyde for their efforts and wish them the very best for their future careers."Follow Lanarkshire Live Sport onTwitter via@LanLiveSport, like us onFacebookor find us onInstagramfor the latest sports news, pictures and video.
