Christine McGuinness shares health update on husband Paddy after he undergoes operation

CHRISTINE McGuiness has shared an update on husband Paddy's recovery after the presenter went under the knife earlier this week to fix his knee.

The 48-year-old had been waiting six months for the operation after sustaining a nasty injury to his meniscus last year. In light of his operation, Christine, 33, said the Top Gear host is "absolutely fine" and couldn't help but joke that he was "milking" his recovery.

Speaking to OK! Online, the Real Housewives of Cheshire star said: “He’s absolutely fine. "He’s milking it, obviously, he’s a man, and he’s got to try and rest as much as possible. "It’s an old injury and he’s just been waiting for some time off work to get it sorted, and he has done now, so he’s absolutely fine." Her comments come days after Paddy revealed on Wednesday that he had undergone an operation to fix his knee and branded it "such a relief" following a six month wait.
