Chris Sutton lands Aldi 'role' after Celtic legend's cheeky Rangers jibe

Supermarket giant Aldi have jokingly appointed Chris Sutton as “honouree manager” after the Celtic legend’s cheeky dig at their major rival Lidl.

Sutton joked at a fan event earlier this week that “being banned from Ibrox is like being banned from Lidl”, in reference to being denied entry to the Govan ground in his role with BT Sport.

The quip went down a storm with the Hoops faithful at the Hydro for the night with Sutton and fellow Celtic legends.
