Celtic hero Chris Sutton reckons Rangers are starting to "choke" in the title race. But the outspoken Parkhead pundit wasn't prepared to call Wednesday's derby one way or another on Sunday night. The stakes haven't been this high for some time as Scotland straps in for the closest title race in many a year.

There's just two points in it and Ange Postecoglou's side could go top for the first time this season with a win. And after a 96th minute leveller saw Ross County equalise to deprive Rangers of two points up in Dingwall, Sutton reckons there are signs the pressure is getting to the current league leaders.

Speaking on BBC 5 Live's 606, he said: “Well there’s a big game, isn’t there?“Rangers are just choking a little bit, two points in it at the top…“That’s going to be intriguing, it’s so difficult to call Celtic-Rangers games.“Ange Postecoglou has done an incredible job this season and of course Rangers have changed manager, Van Bronckhorst has gone in and had a good start. “But it’s close!

Last season it wasn’t close, Rangers ran away with it. A lot of people didn’t see Celtic pushing Rangers this season but there’s very much a title race on.”
