Chicken fans blast Wing Fest after 'horrendous' two-hour queues per stall

Customers at Wing Fest have hit out after having to wait more than two hours per stall. Manchester Wing Fest held its much anticipated chicken festival at the Trafford Centre over the weekend.

The event showcased a range of restaurants, street food traders and pop-ups from across the UK, who displayed their culinary talents and competed against each other to be crowned the best buffalo wing and best wild wing.

A whopping 6,000 chicken wing fans were able to cast their vote across each of the two categories, along with being able to try different wings from local restaurants including Yard and Coop and Kong’s Chicken Shop.
