Yesterday's ground was not as soft as anticipated – but the rain fell late in the afternoon and I am assuming ground will be soft when the tapes go up.Here's my picks for today's action and good luck to all: Ballymore Novices Hurdle With the first eight home in yesterday's Supreme Novices Hurdle all coming from the Emerald Isle it would be reasonable to assume the Irish have the best in this class.
After riding a double on day one, Cork based apprentice Michael O'Sullivan, showed that he could very well be a future champion.
He rides Good Land for Barry Connell in this event – a combination which won him the first race yesterday and I am hopeful can be successful once again.
