‘Chef Giggs, naughty videos and soulmate’: Text messages heard at Ryan Giggs trial
ok.co.ukPrivate messages between former Manchester United ace Ryan Giggs and his ex Kate Greville were made public for the first time today.The texts, where he refers to himself as ‘Chef Giggsy’ and spoke about his ‘natural’ football skills, were read out at the 48-year-old former Wales manager’s trial at Manchester Crown Court.
He is accused of controlling behaviour towards Ms Greville, who he had an affair with while married to his ex-wife Stacey, between 2017 and 2020.
He is also accused of headbutting her during a row at their home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, and elbowing her sister Emma Greville in the jaw in November 2020.
