It was a highlight of the last series of Saturday Night Takeaway and hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly issued a warning as one of their popular segments made a comeback.

Last year Ant and Dec took a moment out to 'apologise' for the chaos caused by their new game Ring My Bell. The popular duo said sombrely "we just want to apologise" as they addressed the complaints from viewers that dogs across the country were being driven crazy by the sound of Ring doorbells.

The zany game goes live homes of audience members via their doorbell camera as neighbours race to ring the bell for a £500 cash prize.

The neighbours have 45 seconds to get to the door and declare "ring my bell." But many fans of the ITV family show complained that the sound of the doorbells had sent pet pooches dogs mad, thinking that someone was at their own door.
