Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Jack Hendry looks set to leave Celtic as KV Oostende prepare to activate a clause in his loan agreement, according to a report.

The Daily Mail suggest the Parkhead club will make a £250,000 profit on the £1.5m they spent to prise him from Dundee back in 2018.

Despite struggling to hold down a regular spot in the Hoops starting line-up, he has been a stand-out at the back for the Belgian side.The Scotland cap has been a key figure in the backline which has secured one of the top defensive records in the Pro League.Celtic will be looking to add to their defensive options this month after a disastrous campaign under Neil Lennon and problems continuing with Shane Duffy at the back.
