Celtic 's next manager and they make Eddie Howe a 83 per cent chance of becoming the next Parkhead boss. It comes after Neil Lennon 's rant as he let rip on the club's detractors in the wake of their controversial trip to Dubai.

The Irishman vented at pundits, the media and the Scottish Government in a wide-reaching address that appeared to contradict chief executive Peter Lawwell 's apology last week.

And Lennon's fury was noted by oddsmakers who have admitted they had a surge in bets with punters keen to lump on their preferred candidate for next permanent boss.

Former Bournemouth boss Howe is popular among supporters if Parkhead decision makers opt for change with Celtic currently 21 points behind rivals Rangers.
