Away fans will be locked out of BOTH the two remaining Old Firm Premiership clashes this season, Record Sport understands.Talks have been on going between Celtic and Rangers chiefs in recent days over allocations for the derby clash at Parkhead on April 8 and the post-split showdown due to take place at Ibrox.

But it’s now been agreed that visiting supporters will NOT be handed an allocation for either game amid concerns over “safety and security”.It follows a similar situation last season when away fans were barred from attending the first two league head-to-heads between the Glasgow giants before that decision was reversed.

Celtic were only handed around 800 tickets for their April victory at Ibrox last year, with Gers given a similar chunk when they headed across the city the following month.

Those arrangements were kept in place for the first two Old Firms of this season. But both clubs have now agreed with police bosses that only home supporters will be permitted access to either stadium the two remaining league matches this season following a spate of incidents that include the throwing of missiles and assaults.Record Sport understands that Parkhead bosses and their Gers counterparts are working to find a solution but it will not come in time for this season’s remaining fixtures.
