Officers investigating a stabbing in Oldham last week have released a new CCTV image as they continue to appeal for help. Police received a report of a stabbing at a property on Blanche Walk, in the St Mary’s area, shortly before 2.30pm on Wednesday, June 15.
Emergency services attended and a 50-year-old woman was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening, Greater Manchester Police says.
Eyewitness reported seeing a large police presence in the area on the day, with Tactical Aid Unit officers and crime scene investigators at the scene.
Officers do not believe there is a wider risk to the public following the attack and have since moved to reassure the community.
