Kate Bush’s ‘Running Up That Hill’ have increased by 153 per cent after the song appeared on the latest season of Stranger Things.The first volume of season four arrived on Netflix last week (May 27) and Bush’s song features in the first episode of the new show and then prominently in some of the episodes thereafter via key moments involving the character Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink).The song, taken from Bush’s album ‘Hounds of Love’, overtook ‘Wuthering Heights’ on Spotify to become her most popular title on the service after it experienced a 153 per cent surge in streams on Spotify. It was described as “the biggest gainer on the Global Spotify chart” by the streaming giants.Elsewhere, the song also went to number one on iTunes.The first part of the full soundtrack, which you can listen to above, was released on May 27.

CBS picked up four new dramas for next season, while also passing on all of their comedy pilots. To that end, only Mondays and Thursdays on CBS will feature any comedy programming.

Fox, fresh off its Upfronts presentation, had a strong Monday night with the 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star season finales.

CBS has given series orders to three of its five drama pilots, Max Thieriot’s Fire Country (fka Cal Fire); East New York, headlined by Amanda Warren, Jimmy Smits, and So Help Me Todd (fka Untitled Mother & Son Legal Drama), starring Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin. CBS is not commenting beyond that but I hear Fire Country, East New York and So Help Me Todd are for fall. True Lies, from 20th Television, ordered as an off-cycle pilot, remains undecided as of yet.
