Cardi B offers to pay funeral costs for victims of Bronx fire

Cardi B will cover the cost of burying the victims of a fire that took the lives of 17 people in The Bronx on January 9. Cardi, who was born and raised in the New York borough, will fund the funerals for all of those who lost their lives, including a number of people who will be buried in the Gambia, west Africa. "When I heard about the fire and all of the victims, I knew I needed to do something to help,” Cardi B said in a statement. "I cannot begin to imagine the pain and anguish that the families of the victims are experiencing, but I hope that not having to worry about the costs associated with burying their loved ones will help as they move forward and heal.
