St Johnstone manager Callum Davidson has revealed Ryan McGowan is desperate to be involved in Saturday’s crunch clash against Kilmarnock.The 33-year-old has missed a couple of months of football with a groin issue but is knocking on the door of the Perth boss to plead his case for a jersey at Rugby Park.McGowan proved himself to be handily versatile in the early part of the campaign and impressed supporters with a number of his performances.Davidson said: “The good news is that Ryan is back training with us, which is a real positive.“We’ll monitor him this week now.
