Bruno Fernandes has told his Manchester United teammates to forget what Liverpool are doing and focus on claiming the two wins they need to book a return to the Champions League.

United have stumbled recently and their 2-0 win against Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday was only their second win in five Premier League games and their fifth in their last 11 matches, dating back to the 7-0 defeat at Anfield.

Liverpool failed to build on the momentum of that success but ahead of Monday's trip to Leicester City they have won six in a row in the league to force their way back into the top-four battle. "I'm not worried about Liverpool, I'm worried about us doing our job," he said. "It is about ourselves and like I said if we do our job properly, if we win our games we will be in the Champions League so we don’t need to look at the table or look at other teams." Two of United's final three Premier League games are at Old Trafford and they haven't lost in the league at home since the opening day of the season, when Brighton won 2-1.

But it's a different story on the road where there have been eight defeats and just seven wins. Erik ten Hag's side haven't beaten any of the top eight away from home and have just one win against the top 12.
