BRIT Awards viewers were left stunned after hearing Daisy May Cooper make a comment about the Sugababes that ITV failed to mute.

The This Country and Never Mind The Buzzcocks star was presenting the award for the best alternative or rock act, which was given to The 1975.

And in the run-up to this, she made a remark about the chart-topping girl group the Sugababes that made it live on air without being censored on time.

Birmingham Live reports that the 36-year-old mentioned that earlier in the night, she was in the bathroom when she saw the Sugababes."And they weren’t doing coke – they were lovely," she then added, leaving viewers at home and in attendance stunned.
