FORMER Britain's Got Talent winner Paul Potts reached out to 2020 champion Jon Courtenay after he was targeted by cruel trolls.

Jon, 46, was gobsmacked as hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly announced he had won the ITV talent show on Saturday evening.

Simon Cowell and the BGT judges were left in tears by Jon's original song about his late father, which earned him a firm place in the final and led to him winning the 2020 crown.
