Brendan Fraser & Angela Bassett Win Big at HCA Film Awards 2023
justjared.comBrendan Fraser and Angela Bassett were among the big winners at the 2023 Hollywood Critics Association’s HCA Film Awards! Brendan won the award for Best Actor while Angela won Best Supporting Actress during the awards show hosted by Tig Notaro held on Friday night (February 24) held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Other big winners of the night included Everything Everywhere All at Once‘s Ke Huy Quan, who won Best Supporting Actor, and Jenny Slate, who won the award for Best Voice or Motion-Capture Performance for her role in Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.
Everything Everywhere All at Once was the overall big winner of the night, taking home the awards for Best Picture, Best Cast Ensemble, Best Actress for Michelle Yeoh, and Best Director Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.
Golden Onion: A Knives Out Mystery director Rian Johnson was also honored during the awards show with the Filmmaking Achievement Award.
