A south Dublin primary school has become the latest to express concerns about children being allowed to watch Squid Game, the violent Netflix series in which players compete to win a massive jackpot.
It’s basically the ultimate version of your average afternoon game show, except the losing players don’t endure Anne Robinson’s caustic scorn and they don’t ‘leave with nothing’.
They don’t leave at all, in fact, since they’re shot dead on the spot by armed guards in cheery pink jumpsuits. Think The Cube, with extreme prejudice.
