BREAKING: Woman dies after crash involving broken down car on M60

A woman has died after a horror crash on the M60. The woman was a passenger in a blue Vauxhall Corsa which had broken down in the first lane of the motorway, police said.

A black Mercedes A160 hit the Corsa and emergency services were called to the scene between junctions four and five. Two days after the crash - which happened at around 7.42pm on Tuesday, October 12 - the woman went to hospital, a spokesperson for GMP said. No further details about the woman have been released at this stage. No arrests have been made. Police are now appealing for anyone with information, or anyone who has dashcam footage, to
