BREAKING: Man injured after fight involving 'large knife' breaks out in city centre

A man was left injured after a fight involving a 'large knife' broke out in Manchester city centre on Wednesday evening (April 19).

Police were called to the reports of the fight between two men on Corporation Street, close to Exchange Square, at around 6.15pm.

It is thought one of the men was armed with a weapon, believed to be a large knife. One man sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Greater Manchester Police have now launched an investigation and are hunting the offenders. No arrests have been made.
