An 11 year-old boy has been left 'shaken up' after he claims that he was violently attacked by a grown man who punched him in the face at a friend's house.

Kayla Birks, from Wirral, said her son Milo went round to his pal's house on November 19 and was assaulted by a 26-year-old man who was also in the property, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Milo has been left with red marks and swelling across his face as a result of the unprovoked attack which his mum says has traumatised the school boy.

The furious mother told the ECHO: '"He had gone round to his friend's house in Moreton on Saturday, and for absolutely no reason some 26-year-old man has just punched him in the face. "He just walked into the house with his friend to have a good time and was attacked by a fully grown man.
