The teenager required hospital treatment after suffering a broken foot and bloodied lip when three men attacked him at the entrance to Priory Woods.

A group of men, aged between 17 and 22 and wearing balaclavas, approached the boy and his friends as they visited the beauty spot on Easter Monday.

The victim, Jordan Arrowsmith, was reportedly punched and knocked off his £500 bike, which the men then stole. It is understood the same group then targeted two other 14-year-old boys, who also reported their bike stolen.
