A police investigation has been launched after a man was found dead on a high street in Fife yesterday. Authorities rushed to High Street in Leven at roughly 7.30am after receiving reports of a sudden death.
It is understood the man was found outside a TSB bank, with a police presence remaining in the area for most of the day. The death is currently being treated as unexplained, however there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of the sudden death if a man on High Street, Leven around 7.30am on Monday, 20 February, 2023. “The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious. “Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”Don't miss the latest news from around Scotland and beyond - sign up to our daily newsletter here .
