The 50-year-old disappeared from her home in Dundonald, South Ayrshire, on January 20, sparking a huge search effort.Sadly, police confirmed a body was found in a car in the Leggatston Road area of Darnley, Glasgow, at roughly 4.20pm on Sunday, January 29.Formal identification has yet to take place, however Lisa's family have been informed.
Police say there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.20pm on Sunday, 29 January, the body of a woman was found in a car in the Leggatston Road area of Darnley, Glasgow."Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Lisa Haining, reported missing from Dundonald, Ayrshire, have been informed.
