A bestselling author of books on the world's greatest boxers is set to turn the spotlight on himself with a heartbreaking autobiography that could be Hollywood-bound.

Gary Todd, 56, left Dundee for Australia at the age of 21 after enduring Thatcher-era poverty and violence in the city's north-west.

Since then he has travelled the world interviewing boxing champions like Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquiao for his Greatest Ever Boxing Workouts series, which has sold hundreds of thousands of copies worldwide.
