dailyrecord.co.ukiOS - Android One such fundraising inspiration is the duo of Claire Curran and Comet the Beatson ambassadog..When Claire was much younger, she first came into contact with the Beatson when the team there cared for her mother, Fiona.Her aunt was also in the hospital’s care towards the end of her battle too.Following her auntie's passing in 2017, Claire struggled and went through quite a dark period.Her beloved pet Comet, a golden retriever, proved her best purchase during lockdown.Walking and training her dog has meant Claire is exercising and spending more time outdoors.They took part in the Paw Walk together and entered Comet to be the Ambassadog as part of a competition in 2020.The involvement with the charity has allowed her to reignite.
