Motherwell interim boss Stuart Kettlewell hopes Motherwell can grab back-to-back home Premiership wins when Hearts come calling today, launching themselves on a run up the table.Kettlewell steered the Steelmen to a 2-1 win over St Mirren on Wednesday, their first triumph at home since August 20, and a first league win in 12 games. That moved them up to ninth, but in what is still a very bunched situation down the bottom end of the table, Kettlewell knows there is still work to be done.A win over the Edinburgh giants today would work wonders for the Lanarkshire club, and Kettlewell hopes they can do it."You want to try and find a run," he said, "to find yourself in a position where you can mount some sort of winning run."You look at the league table and the fact that you go to ninth.

You want to try and see if you can improve your numbers, in terms of your points tally, goal difference, and all of that."From a very simple sense, you want to win any game – but that's not been any different from the start of the season."Nobody has been going out there trying to lose games, or trying not to have a good home record."It's trying to harness that, and add to it as quickly as you possibly can."Kettlewell hopes to reintroduce some previously injured players to the squad for today's game, but says it will be touch and go right up to the 12pm kick-off.He said: "We might have one or two available.

We have to wait and see."There are fine lines with that; there are guys who have been out for a period of time."I would be hopeful that we can maybe add one or two to the squad, but again that is going to be touch and go."Other than that, you would be looking at a very similar squad that we started the game with against St Mirren."Follow
