Reigning champion Vito and the actress, famed for her role in BBC sitcom Miranda, were among the 15 couples performing as the BBC One dance show officially got underway with week one of the competition last Saturday night (September 21).
The pair impressed with their dance, a quickstep, to the Dolly Parton classic 9 To 5, which saw them awarded a very impressive 30 points out of a possible 40 from the judges. Comedian and actress Miranda, who starred in her self-titled sitcom from 2009 until 2015 alongside 53-year-old Sarah who played best pal Stevie Sutton, has offered her support to her former co-star and some advice to professional dancer Vito.
