Strictly Come Dancing star JB Gill has shared what his former dance partner Amy Dowden thinks of him being in the final alongside her fellow pro dancer Lauren Oakley.
The JLS star started his journey in the BBC One dance contest alongside Welsh dancer Amy. She had returned for the 2024 run of the competition series after missing out on last year's series while undergoing treatment following a breast cancer diagnosis.
But, the Amy, 35, had to withdraw from Strictly's 20th-anniversary series last month after suffering an insufficiency stress fracture to her foot, which happened towards the end of October amidst the show's annual Halloween special. READ MORE: ITV I'm A Celebrity's Danny Jones ignores medical advice and says 'I was really ill' after jungle win However, why Amy was unable to continue due to a foot injury, Lauren carried on the competition with JB and has helped him through to the end of the BBC One dance contest, with the final taking place this Saturday (December 14).
Speaking at a press conference, ahead of the final, JB said: "She (Amy) was there at the semi-final and she’s over the moon that we’re in the final, I’ve made the final.
