Lewis Capaldi
Lewis Capaldi (born 7 October 1996) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. He was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award at the 2019 Brit Awards. In March 2019, his single "Someone You Loved" topped the UK Singles Chart where it remained for seven weeks, and in October 2019 it reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100. On 17 May 2019 he released his debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, which remained at the top of the UK Albums Chart for six weeks.

BBC Strictly Come Dancing quarter-final time tonight and sogns and dances for Musicals Week

The weeks have been whizzing by on Strictly Come Dancing and by the end of this weekend, fans will have decided who has made the semi-final, taking them one step closer to lifting the Glitterball trophy.

There are currently six celebrities and their professional dance partners left in the competition and during their latest stint in the ballroom, the couples will perform to a string of well known songs from the stage as the Musicals Week special takes place.

Last weekend, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaz Skorjanec became the first couple in the 2024 series to receive a perfect score of 40 out of 40 from the judges - Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke - following their American Smooth to Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi. For the first time in six years, all of the contestants then took part in a Samba-Thon. Having performed their planned routines, the remaining Strictly couples returned to the ballroom floor together to impress the judges with their best Samba moves and were eliminated one-by-one before a winner was confirmed.
