BBC newsreader Tim Willcox, 58, dumped by new wife, 40, just two years after wedding

TIM Willcox has been dumped by his new wife – just two years after tying the knot. The BBC newsreader, 58, wed Najah al-Otaibi, 40, -  a Saudi Arabian political analyst, in 2019 - seven years on from his affair with fellow presenter Sophie Long.

A source told the MailOnline: “She's divorcing him. It’s very acrimonious.” Tim previously hit the headlines following his well-publicised affair with Sophie Long.

He was at her wedding to yacht company sales director Will Green in Cornwall in 2010. A former member of the British Youth Orchestra, Tim even serenaded the bride and groom with his trumpet.
